When we started out it was 86° and a "feels like" temp of 100°. It indeed felt like 100° to me.
We zigzagged through the neighborhoods until we got to Cream & Sugar at 5.56 miles. I don't know which felt better, sitting down or the air conditioning.
It was a long walk home, especially the last 1/2 to 3/4 mile where there is no shade at all. This is what we call the "hot spot." At the end of an already long walk, it isn't too much fun to realize we still have the "hot spot" to go.I don't know who comes up with the "feels like" temperatures, but it certainly felt hotter when we ended than when we began.
