This video was created from our trip on July 18, 2009. For this video, I was holding the camera between my knees, which often resulted in the camera being hit by the paddle.
Since then, I have been experimenting with various ways of holding or wearing the camera, including a head cam.
So far, I'm not totally happy with any of them, but I'll keep working until I find something thats just right.
Look into putting a rod holder on your boat and get a monopod for your camera. Just set the monopod in the rod holder and you are a floating video platform.

ReplyDeleteGreat idea, Paul! I also saw a small bike camera mount that might work, also. I really don't like looking so geeky wearing the "head cam"!
